The Suicide Sue in Dunckerstraße, close to lively Danziger Straße in Prenzlauer Berg is now firmly established as a highly valued breakfast place. The owner made a dream come true with opening the café. The furniture of Suicide Sue is modern and stylish. Guests sit at high tables by the window or at two large wooden tables. Outside a few tables with comfortable stools are set up. Everything here is welcoming, bright and friendly.
For many regular guests this small café in the bustling neighborhood of central Helmholtzplatz is a casual favorite place with relaxed background music, nice people and great attention to detail. The sandwiches are the heart of the kitchen. There are all kinds of variations: the grandpa sandwich with veal liver sausage and gherkins or the grandma sandwich with lard. The so called worker’s sandwiches are served with ham or salami, the Dr. Green sandwich with avocado and chilli jam, tomato and sprouts and the princess sandwich with goat cheese and rocket pesto spread, ham or salami and cheese.
Breakfasts are served on wooden plates and impress primarily by their many delicious homemade spreads. Even pancakes, warm toasts and muesli are available here. Delicious homemade cakes such as walnut and marble cake are worth a sin. The Suicide Sue also offers office- and event-catering.
