Be it as a culinary start for a long night partying at “Kater Blau” or for sheer curiosity to get to know the critically acclaimed “Beef Fillet in red wine sauce” by FAME-chef Juval Diezinger – there are plenty of reasons for going to the FAME restautant. And be it for the only reason to take part in the conversation of your Berlin friends after having had dinner there.
The menu of the FAME is rather small. In exchange for that you order from the daily changing menu, presented on a blackboard by the waiter of your table.
First, the guests pick their main course of fish, meat or seitan and then compose the side dishes like Brussel Sprouts with almond butter, truffeled cream savoy cabbage or fried dumpling slices with bacon and prune.
What to expect? Reservations are mandaroty and the attitude of the staff oscillates between professional and hip cheekiness plus the toilets are unisex and the stalls cannot be locked.
Top10 Berlin tip: once the weather allows for you, you can eat on the sun terrace of the FAME on the banks of the Spree.
