Summer, sunshine and a thirst for a cold drink make you want to visit a beer garden. If you’re planning a tour by bike or inline skates, want to go for a jog or take a walk with friends, it’s worth taking a trip to Tempelhofer Feld, where the Tempelgarten, which is due to open in April 2024, awaits you. The beautiful location of the beer garden guarantees a relaxed picnic atmosphere that offers an attractive contrast to the hustle and bustle of our capital. With or without the family, you can relax here with ice-cold drinks and delicious home-cooked food in a green setting.
There is a permanent outdoor bar, classic beer garden benches and tables, wacky scaffolding furniture and a selection of delicious dishes prepared by chef Romano to accompany the drinks. If you’re feeling peckish, home-baked cakes from Chritti and Sicilian ice cream from DUO in Kreuzberg will be served, along with various coffee specialties from coffee manufacturer Andraschko. The international kitchen team also spoils you with special dishes that are not on the menu, changing weekly.
The beer garden is not only open during the day, but is also recommended in the evening to enjoy the sunset on the field while sipping an Aperol Spritz, an Aragosta Frizzante in an ice pack or the classic Prosecco on ice. There is Berliner Kindl from the tank, Schneider wheat beer on tap, Tegernseer Helles, various wines and delicious soft drinks. Popular classics include fried fish, currywurst, salads and, of course, chips. There are also smaller concerts, DJ events and barbecue specials from time to time.
