Mutter Hoppe

Local lore tell us that a lady called Mutter Hoppe ("Mother Hoppe") worked as a charitable inn-keep around the turn of the century in Berlin's Nikolaiviertel.

And also her present-day namesake has a soft spot for the era of illustrator Heinrich Zille and does not care too much about modern trends in pub furniture or changes in eating habits. Relive old Berlin atmosphere in Mutter Hoppe’s various function rooms.
