Wartesaal: Grill and Stone Oven on Kantstraße

Wartesaal is located at Kantstraße 10, next to the Theater des Westens, just a few minutes from Zoo Station. The name alludes to a time when train travel was the fastest mode of transportation and people of various origins met while waiting. At its heart is an open beechwood grill, where fish and meat are prepared over flames and embers right before the guests’ eyes. Next to it, a stone oven bakes pizzas. The establishment is operated by K10 Gastronomie under Fatime Murseli.

Business Lunch for 11.50 Euros and Space for 130 Guests

The business lunch consists of a dish of choice as a pizza, pasta, or salad menu and costs 11.50 Euros, including a 0.2-liter non-alcoholic drink. On the evening menu, the grilled rump steak costs 26.50 Euros, the beef fillet 30.90 Euros, and the green pepper variant 32.50 Euros. A Pizza Margherita is on the menu for 11.90 Euros, Spaghetti Carbonara for 14.90 Euros, homemade Gnocchi for 19.90 Euros. For appetizers, Carpaccio costs 15.50 Euros and Vitello Tonnato 15.90 Euros. The restaurant can accommodate up to 130 guests and can also be exclusively booked for corporate events.
