The Kauf dich glücklich, located where the districts of Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte meet, has made a name for itself in Berlin and beyond for the last 15 years with its outstanding waffles and crêpes.

Everything here is self-made from regional ingredients, of course the batter in the first place but this applies equally to sauces and toppings. And they have quite a variety to choose from: sweet to hearty, vegan or even whole-grain waffles/crêpes. On top of all that, the Kauf dich glücklich also makes its own ice cream, sorbet and coffee specialities which you can enjoy in the welcoming atmosphere on the terrace.

The true blue classic – crêpe with hot cherries, whipped cream and ice cream – is close to unbeatable here. But also waffles with fig quark or with apple chunks, apple sauce and cinnamon are absolutely delectable. A heartier take can be had with waffles and crêpes with goat cheese, walnut and honey, salmon with a sauce of dill and horseradish or tomato, mozzarella, pesto and basil.
