In the direct vicinity of the Gesundbrunnen Center, currywurst followers are up for a treat at Curry Baude. The currywurst is served with or without casing in a home-made sauce. Since 1989 Curry Baude has been run by butcher Reina Lehmann, who has his own recipe for making a special sausage. Also the sauce is an own brew and its composition is a fiercely guarded family secret. The scent of the sausages is lovely and the stall is spotlessly clean – the neatly arranged sausages wait on stainless steel interior for the hungry mouths. You cannot leave town without having tasted a true Berlin currywurst from Curry Baude.
