Frühstückshaus Mavera on Schäfersee can still be considered an insiders’ tip. The small café was only opened in 2014 and is so to speak off the beaten track at the end of a cul-de-sac, directly on the banks of Schäfersee.
In front of the narrow and long building is a small, fenced-in garden where you can enjoy your breakfast outside. There is also lunch available but the highlight of the place are the countless cakes and coffee specialities served in the afternoon. The home-made cookies are made with lots of butter and literally melt on your tongue.
The kitchen orientation is German and Turkish, but you can also order vegetarian dishes.
