Quality ice cream from selected ingredients has been made here since 1928, and even today the family recipes of Erna Monheim are the key to success. High quality and the best ingredients are of utmost importance here. Eiscafé Monheim is known for its fruit ice creams like raspberry, cherries but also blueberries and black currants. Regulars swear by the brittle ice cream made here.
You will look in vain for exotic flavours like ginger-chili but you will find alcohol-based classic cups hardly seen elsewhere like the Swedish Cup, the Amaretto Cup or the Black Forest Cup with raspberry licor. 2015 gave the shop a facelift, however without foregoing the traditional look.
