The Sticks’n’Sushi restaurant is centrally located in Berlin-Tiergarten close to Kreuzberg at the trendy Potsdamer Straße in an up-and-coming neighborhood. The restaurant is one of the few places to serve Japanese cuisine at a high level in Berlin. At the turn of the year 2018/2019, the Sticks’n’Sushi presents an exclusive New Year’s Eve menu dinner unusual Japanese creations. For New Year’s Eve, the kitchen is working together with the chocolate manufacturer Candide Schokoladen Berlin, which will provide culinary surprises.
The New Year’s Eve dinner includes Zensai, Tataki, Yaki, Suimono, Wagyu, Gohan Mono and Dezato by Candide chocolates. The high Japanese craftsmanship for which Sticks’n’Sushi stands can also be expected here. On 31 December, Sticks’n’Sushi will exclusively serve the New Year’s Eve dinner. Alternatively, a vegetarian version of the menu is offered. The restaurant is open for lunch from 12 am to 3 pm.
The 38-year-old chef Song Lee grew up in Seoul and is trained in Germany. He has a good reputation and worked in renowned restaurants. He was chef of the restaurants mesa and Tizian before he moved to the restaurant DAE MON. Since 2016 he has been cooking and creating delicacies at the Japanese restaurant Sticks’n’Sushi.
The interior design of the Japanese restaurant is clear, modern and was designed by the Danish architect Terese Erngaard. Sticks’n’Sushi was founded in Copenhagen in 1994. The Berlin restaurant is the first restaurant of the family business in Germany.
