On New Year’s Eve, the Austrian restaurant Horváth invites its guests to an enjoyable New Year’s Eve dinner in one of Berlin’s most popular neighbourhoods. The restaurant in the trendy Kreuzberg district was once again awarded two Michelin stars in 2018 and has recently risen to 19 points at the gourmet bible Gault Millau. Despite these many honours, you can also feel at home in Horváth as a normal person and the Austrian cuisine offered here is simply first class.
At the turn of the year 2018/2019, Horváth welcomes its guests with a glass of sparkling wine at 6.30 pm. The eight-course New Year’s Eve dinner will be served from 7 p.m. onwards. It is planned to present the last course at 11 p.m., so that those who celebrate their New Year’s Eve party elsewhere afterwards still will have time to get there. Those who want to stay can celebrate the New Year at the Horváth.
The New Year’s Eve dinner will be both noble and down-to-earth in a very Horváth way. The menu begins with yellow beetroot, sheep’s cream and poppy seed, followed by a dill trout with white chocolate. After celery and soup vegetables there is sturgeon, if desired also with caviar. The main course is an entrecôte with roasted vegetables. After an intermediate course with aubergine and parsley, the guests are spoiled with caraway meringue and sour cream ice cream. The menu is accompanied by an aperitif and excellent wine. If you would like to celebrate the turn of the year at home after the extensive dinner, you can take home an exquisite bottle champagne “to go” if you order it in advance. In order to guarantee a smooth process, punctuality is requested.
For this detailed eight-course New Year’s Eve dinner an advance order is requested until 23.12.2018 at the latest.
