The Hugos Restaurant, which has been awarded a Michelin star and 17 Gault Millau points, welcomes its guests to a gourmet New Year’s Eve dinner in a class of its own. At the turn of the year 2018/2019, the Hugos offers a truly heavenly treat with a festive menu over the rooftops of Berlin, because this upscale gourmet restaurant is located on the 14th floor of the Hotel InterContinental Berlin and offers with a 360 degree panoramic view an excellent view of the New Year’s fireworks at the nightly sky over Berlin.
Just as spectacular as the view is the 7-course dinner, which will be served on New Year’s Eve from 6:30 pm. The dinner begins with sea trout marinated in seaweed milk, char caviar, fennel and quinoa, followed by scallops with peanut, green pea, cress and pickled Daikon radish. Afterwards baked Langostino and imperial caviar spoil the palate. After a fine sole with Périgord truffles, a fillet of veal is served with pear cabbage, Jerusalem artichoke, sweet and sour turnips and pickled mushrooms. At the sweet end of the New Year’s Eve menu, passion fruit and matcha are on the menu.
Since 1999, the Hugos Restaurant has been consistently (!) awarded a Michelin star and 17 Gault Millau points, making it one of the top culinary addresses in the capital.
