The Patrick Hellmann Schlosshotel, an elegant fashion hotel in Berlin-Grunewald, starts the celebrations with a festive seven-course New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner. The restaurant also has the elegant ambience of the luxury hotel. Chef Andelko Krimpotic has come up with special delicacies for the turn of the year 2018/2019.
The seven-course New Year’s Eve menu begins with egg and mustard, a black egg with mustard sauce and caviar, followed by horseradish velouté with fried scallop and roe emulsion. Afterwards monkfish is served with Jerusalem artichoke and truffle. As a small intermediate course, Bellini is served with peach, sorbet and champagne. During the main course the guests are spoiled with a tender fillet of beef, potatoes, Baumkuchen, fermented garlic, caramelized cream and wild cabbage. After a Spanish Valdon wine, “it’s almost time”: This is also the name of sweet dessert that will get you in the mood for New Year’s Eve.
After the menu you can dance into 2019 with irresistible music with DJ Kevin Cremer in the in-house music room. At midnight you can look forward to fireworks for the Wow-Factor in the castle garden.
The Patrick Hellmann Schlosshotel is a luxury hotel in the heart of Berlin’s Grunewald forest. Fashion designer Patrick Hellmann, whose label of the same name offers numerous premium and lifestyle products, was himself in charge of the redesign of this beautiful palace in Grunewald. Thus, 22 rooms were newly furnished and re-staged according to all the rules of art. The designer himself combined colours and fabrics from his own collections, selected high-gloss furniture, implemented ornaments from Lalique and carefully coordinated all details.
The building was erected between 1912 and 1914 as Palais Pannwitz for the personal lawyer of the German emperor Kaiser Wilhelm II in the style of the Italian Renaissance. The hotel became known throughout Germany in 2006 when the players of the German national soccer team were accommodated in the Schlosshotel Grunewald. Despite its idyllic, secluded location, the hotel is centrally located. By car you can reach the Kurfürstendamm in a few minutes.
