Hand-made macaroni with gorgonzola, zucchini, cherry tomatoes and almonds or tagliatelle with chicken, goat cheese and spring onions – the daily fresh and diverse pasta varieties can be ordered for lunch or dinner from the big blackboard of KANTINA VON HUGO. Add to that a small but select variety of standard pasta dishes, salads and ciabattas from the menu.
Next to a down-to-Earth cuisine, the restaurant does not work with any instant stock subes, thickeners or spice mixes. Also the ambience there is rather laid back than posh: in summer, the guests sit in a small garden directly in front of the restaurant on the Kreuzberg part of the Landwehrkanal. The garden has a sandbox for children to play in.
