In this small restaurant business people from the surrounding offices meet for lunch or groups of friends for a nice dinner in the evening. The Italian restaurant is always well attended. Beside the front area with bar there is a further, rear restaurant area, in which also somewhat larger groups find place. In the entrance area the wooden tables are close together and there is a typical Italian vivid atmosphere.
The menu in the Mädchenitaliener is rather concise and offers a handful of pasta dishes like Spaghetti Rosso with red Pesto from dried tomatoes, Tagliatelle Rustika with tomatoes, Rucola, olives and capers or Spaghetti con Salsa di Acciuga with steamed anchovies, fresh tomatoes and capers. The Tagliatelle al Tartufo with fresh black truffles is particularly popular with guests. The pasta in the Mädchenitaliener is freshly produced and perfectly prepared to the point. At a large table the restaurant serves additional seasonal pasta dishes of the day, such as tagliatelle with lemon butter and asparagus or ravioli filled with goat cheese. As starters, mixed antipasti platters are served in Mädchenitaliener and for dessert there are sweets such as mousse au chocolat and tartufo or a hearty selection of the best cheese specialities.
