The crackling fireplace at the Chalet Suisse in Grunewald provides for an outstanding atmosphere. Braziers on the terrace guarantee enough warmth to enjoy a glass of home-made hot spiced wine or egg punch in winter. In summer the terrace is a lovely place, too. Their cuisine relies mostly on seasonal ingredients from the region, like game specialities, raclette or Swiss rösti!
On top of that they offer authentical Swiss cheese fondue and raclette, using the genuine Swiss raclette cheese. Add to that grilled meat which you can grill yourself on a charcoal grill – a real communicative event with friends. Side dishes are mixed pickles and potatoes. The cheese fondue is made following an in-house recipe of Swiss mountain cheese,Wallis chasselas grapes and Swiss cherry licor!
Children can run wild on the playground of the restaurant and for casual passers-by there is a beer garden, too.
