Eating at Restaurant 44 is above all recommendable in summer: on the rooftop terrace the guests and can enjoy a snack, a cocktail from the bar (with a huge variety of different gins and tonic waters) or an home-made iced tea (with Swiss herbs for example) while listening to lounge music and gazing over Kurfürstendamm. During summer they have occasional BBQs on the sunny terrace with grilled goods or à la carte courses. Their most recent menu card embraces seasonal products like for example: wild garlic cream soup served with a pulled rabbit and green tomato brioche burger; guinea fowl garnished with colorful root vegetables, morels and blue St. Galler potato puree; strawberry variation with poppy seeds, almonds and Felchlin chocolate – just to name a few.
If you prefer an elegant dinner the cuisine team will treat you – in line with the location of Restaurant 44 at the Swissôtel – with delicious Alpine food. Featuring Swiss classics from Belper Knolle cheese to beef tatar and veal stripes Zurich style with buttered Rösti, the gourmet kitchen was awarded the “bib gourmand” by Guide Michelin in 2016 and 2017. Fitting with the modern Alpine cuisine, you will find here the biggest variety of Swiss wines in Berlin.
