Bright, airy and open, this is the urban streetfood canteen for the Berliners of City-West: Kantini in the Bikini Berlin. On 1800 square meters international gastronomy from Mexico to Hawaii flirts with Berlin classics like currywurst and boulette.
The All-New Foodmarket offers culinary delicacies of very different directions: Sons of Mana serve original Pow Bowls from Hawaii, Bibimix is dedicated to Korean street food and Madrido presents delicatessen tapas and seafood. Mexican burritos, tacos and tortas are available at Chaparro and Djimalaya prepares Israeli street food from humus to halloumi.
Those who don’t want to dine so innovatively can try pasta deli, fresh pasta variations as desired or Terramare Antipasti variations and crispy Italian flame cakes. Vegetarians and vegans will also find what they are looking for at Kantini. Frai offers healthy food, with meat or vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free, as desired. The idea is to put together your lunch meal from individual components in a modular system; if you don’t like something, leave it out.
The advantage of a covered streetfood offer: What you have bought at the food stands can be eaten on the spot. You sit inside at colourful tiled tables or – the absolute highlight in summer – outside on the terrace. The open loggia with a direct view of the aviaries of the Berlin Zoo is certainly a huge plus at this food market. The trendy interior design was created by designer Werner Aisslinger, who also designed the interior of Hotel 25hours in Bikini Berlin.
