In the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, the restaurant team of the Mao Thai scores big time with a sumptuous menu card and ranks high among the best Thai restaurants of Berlin. Founded in 1993, it was the first Siamese restaurant in East Berlin. Ever since then, quality and tradition have been held in high esteem at the Mao Thai.

The staff serves dressed in tradition gowns, the restaurant is decorated with carvings of water melon, the typical orchids and antiques from Thailand and Burma. Top10 Berlin tip: for private functions or business meetings, the Mao Thai can furnish a separate room for 12 people.
