Black ice cream in a black cone? After black burger buns or hotdog-rolls there is, of course, also deep-frozen ice cream in Berlin – at Black Poodle on Schlesische Straße in Kreuzberg. The fact that this ice cream is still healthy is a natural side effect, because the black waffle owes its color to a very special ingredient: activated carbon from coconuts. And this is a real winner, because activated charcoal detoxifies is good for the stomach and even – as the cosmetic industry has recently recognized – improves the skin’s appearance.
Black Poodle does not only offer black ice cream cones, but also fresh and homemade ice cream. The signature “Black Poodle” captivates with the remarkable taste of black vanilla in combination with colorful marshmallows and natural activated carbon from coconuts. But also the other flavors are just as delicious.
