Betty’n Caty in Knaackstraße is one of the new hot spots in the neighborhood of Kollwitzplatz. A homely furnishing and two lovely owners have formed the place into a popular neighborhood café in a short time. Betty’n Caty is nicely decorated with a selfmade bar of copper. All furniture and dishes are selected from antique markets.
Betty’n Caty offers delicious coffee. The waiters are international and very busy. The international flair is noticeable in the small café. Families with children who were playing on the playground at the opposite water tower sit on cozy sofas as well as hipsters who use the free Wi-Fi for work. Everyone is welcome here, but getting a place can be difficult, especially on weekends. All coffees, cakes and meals are also available to take away.
For breakfast there are mixed platters, eggs, cereals and toasties. The breakfast menu also offers gluten-free, lactose-free and veggi-friendly dishes. Besides the tasty food delicious coffee or tea specialties and freshly squeezed juices as well as smoothies are offered.
