Shortly after opening the restaurant Paulinski Palme in Berlin-Neukölln it became one of the city’s favorite breakfast hotspots. At the weekends you can enjoy breakfast until the afternoon. Here you can get breakfast classics such as Eggs Benedict or German pancakes as well as pumpkin granola with apple sauce and yogurt or a hyped Pastrami sandwich. If you fancy some alcoholic beverages in the morning, you won’t be disappointed – a Bloody Mary is always a good idea to fight last night’s hangover.
Even though Paulinski Palme is located in the quiet area of Rixdorf in Berlin-Neukölln, it doesn’t lack the hipster vibes. On weekends it’s a great place for having long breakfasts in the morning, in the afternoon and evenings it turns into a restaurant and wine bar. The menu consists of a few, well picked dishes. High quality products, which often come from the surrounding neighborhood, are a must.
The interior is a mix of different styles. Bright large windows meet some rustic pieces of furniture, industrial lights hang from the ceiling and all over the room there a green plants that fit the name of the restaurant (Palme = palm tree). On sunny days you can also sit outside the restaurant and enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the neighborhood.
The owners Max and Paul aren’t new to the gastronomical business. Paul formerly worked as a manager at the gourmet restaurant Reinstoff while Max has been part of the successful Katerschmaus restaurant. They complement each other perfectly, which made Paulinski Palme become a place people like to hang out and start their day at.
