Friedrichshain

The Bistro Bardot in Friedrichshain's Almodovar Hotel is an organic restaurant offering vegetarian mediterranea food. Various tapas, paellas, pasta or tarte flambée can be found on the menu.

Although the Bardot in Berlin-Friedrichshain calls itself a bistro, it emphasizes being a restaurant where guests are invited to enjoy the so-called slow food. Organic certified cuisine from all over the Mediterranean meets robust, simple and ecological furniture with an international and young audience.

The offer of the kitchen is divided into vegetarian, vegan and raw food. Many tapas, salads and variations of tarte flambée are on the menu too. Between stuffed dates in a tofu coat, grilled aubergine in rosemary oil, seitan slices in savory sauce and many other tapas, the decision is not easy. But even larger dishes are offered here. How about a rocket salad with almond balls and summer fruit, homemade gnocchi with spinach, cheese and cherry tomatoes or sliced meat with roasted tofu, mushrooms, peppers and potato rösti? Also, weekly changing desserts are offered. The kitchen is visible, spacious and shows young chefs who cook and create with heart.

In the morning there is a rich breakfast buffet including two hot drinks and on Sundays you can get a cozy brunch plus drinks. Upon reservation there is a vegan 4-course candlelight dinner for 35.00 Euro per person. In the evening, the lounge invites to delicious cocktails and wines – of course also in organic quality. No matter what time of day, in Bistro Bardot, ethics meets aesthetics.
