In his wine bar, owner Serhat Aktas focuses on a warm and cozy atmosphere with a stylish interior and idyllic courtyard garden. As one of the most popular wine spots in Berlin, the food and drink on offer is unique, with a selection of exquisite sparkling wines and wines, classic bar dishes and regularly changing 3- and 5-course menus. It is not for nothing that the wine lobbyist has received the Gault & Millau award for the best sparkling wine list in Germany. The wine list contains over 600 items, with 70 sparkling wines and a selection of 25 to 30 wines by the glass from Germany and Austria. Serhat Aktas has put a lot of effort into the design, renovating the restaurant himself and adding his own touches. The ceiling-high wine racks and the elegant row of tables and benches conjure up a rustic yet sophisticated ambience. You can sample a colorful mix of wines by the glass, ranging from table wines to top wines. Large bottles are available for several people in convivial company, while the sparkling pleasure lies in the vintner’s sparkling wine, which contributes to the cheerful atmosphere.
The wine bar also serves delicious food at fair prices in the illuminated indoor and outdoor areas. On the second floor there is the Supperclub, which can be booked for events, business lunches and birthdays. Typical classics such as the cheese and ham platter are complemented by the Alsatian-style tarte flambée with home-baked sourdough bread and hearty toppings. The 3- and 5-course menus taste particularly good with exquisite wines and can also be prepared vegetarian on request. Wine pairings are also available, allowing you to try several different wines. The signature dish is the Thuringian Duroc pork belly with black garlic and radish kimchi. Creative side dishes include sourdough bread with spruce butter, BBQ prawns and radicchio sorbet.
