The popular wine bar Bar à vins Maxim is one of the places that you just like to hang out at. It’s simply a nice spot to hang out. The walls are a plain white, but the ceiling is a colorful turquoise. Huge wine racks, wooden tables decorated with flowers and a pleasant lighting add to the atmosphere.

Maxim is one of the first wine bars of Germany which specializes on the so called “vins libres” or “vins naturels”. Those natural wines are wines that pass on chemical additives and that are not fumigated or just slightly fumigated. It’s not an easy task to produces vines that aren’t fumigated, which is why winemakers specializing on such wines have to gain a lot of experience.
