Awarded with a Michelin star Weinbar Rutz is known as a gourmet restaurant, but surprisingly it also offers a respected wine bar with some delicious German food one floor below.
You’ll get to taste some snacks like “Neuköllner Schinkenknacker”, which is a very common, down-to-earth and traditional Berlin dish, but also prepared in the same kitchen as the high-class food of the restaurant. Head chef Marco Müller obviously knows how to do it both ways. Besides the snacks the Wine Bar also offers some proper meals like pork knuckle.
The wine selection is the most important part though. You can choose between 1.000 different wines – collected during over 14 years of work. The wine bar is also famous for their “Rutz Rebell” wines, which are a collection of wines from befriended winemakers and selected one of a kind wines. You can either buy those wines or drink them either at the restaurant or wine bar.
