Prenzlauer Berg certainly has plenty of playgrounds for children. But a playground with a tapas bar right next to it, there is only one: Alois S. on the intersection Senefelder and Stargarder Straße! There are about 50 seats outside on the terrace and this very terrace is right next to a big communal playground. In addition to a big sandbox, this playground features a rope net for climbing about, various swings and a wobbly plank bridge. On top of that there are two ping pong tables which are also popular with the grown-ups for a little digestion activity after digging in at the Alois S.
The food there is really excellent and it doesn’t mattter if you go for the turkey breast with goat cheese or a classic like dates in bacon and fried green peppers with marine salt.
Top10 Berlin tip: Alois S. regularly screens important football matches on the big screen.
