Main thrill in the summer at the restaurant Luise in Dahlem is the beautiful beer garden, accommodating up to 700 guests.. The kitchen style changed to German with Berlin specials like liver with apple and onions or Boulette with potato salad, but they still serve a good pizza.
The restaurant and beergarden are practically located in the Grunewald woods and also serve as a day-trip destinations for families, mainly due to the large playground next to the beer garden.
While the kids can run wild there, their parents can enjoy some down-to-earth food from the BBQ. Everyday between 10:00 am – 02:00 pm they serve breakfast, on Sundays they offer brunch and on Thursdays students get a discount of 20%.
Tip for soccer fans: The restaurant Luise offers public viewing at major events such as the World Cup or the European Championship. Reservations are recommended.
