The fairytale themed playground in Berlin-Neukölln is based on the stories by the famous fairytale authors – Brothers Grimm. You will find many characters and symbols of those tales all around the area. Kids can climb around a huge castle which is the center of the playground. To get on the castle they will have to take different obstacles such as climbing up the walls with ropes and other balancing tasks. There are many fun elements that will help the kids to conquer the castle. Once that’s done they can leave via a huge slide. The swings and seesaws are great fun as well.
The fairytale playground is located inside a park close to a little pond that is surrounded by a fence. Toddlers can play inside a small house which has smaller objects to balance on as well as a smaller slide. Our Top10 Berlin tip: Don’t forget to bring some little buckets and scoops as the area is full of sand and perfect to build a sandcastle.
Some other extras include a fairylike fountain, a seating area perfect for private story telling sessions, a water playground area with different levels and many other options to keep you occupied.
