Lübbenau Castle is a historic buiding and genuie castle which has been owned by the Counts of Lynar since 1621. Only the expropriation in the course of the participation of the last registrar in the failed Hitler assassination in 1944, interrupted the family tradition in Lübbenau. In the early 1990s, the family got back the estate and since then gently rebuilds it.
The proximity of the castle ensemble to Berlin and the unique location directly in the UNESCO biosphere reserve of the Spree Forest, leaves nothing to be desired for peace seekers and active vacationers.
