The Ackselhaus is a small family-style boutique hotel in the trendy Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. The charming little hotel is located in a lovingly restored Gründerzeit house, where it invites you to dive into different holiday worlds. Each room takes you to a different holiday a design motto. No room is the same and every room is designed differently.
In the room “Safari” one feels transported to colonial times, in the room “Movie” a Hollywood star of the 50s might just come around the corner and the “Strandhaus” nearly makes you hear the sound of waves washing sandy beaches in the middle of Berlin. Also different cities “New York” or “Rome” were the inspiration for the interior design of two rooms bearing these titles. All the rooms are so authentically and individually styled and fitted that it is fairly easy to spend your holidays in Berlin. The only thing you won’t get is an automatic tan.
Even a hidden small Mediterranean garden in the inner courtyard provides a small oasis of relaxation. For those who need more space, there are also spacious suites and apartments available in the additional “bluehome”. The “club del mar” also belongs to the Ackselhotel, where guests can have an excellent breakfast in a bistro atmosphere, outside in summer and with a cosy fireplace in winter.
