With giant mushroom water fountains and an impressive orange water slide, the summer pool near the Insulaner is really worth checking out.
For out-of-towners: the Insulaner is an old debris mountain from World War II, which has become a place of fun and recreation with miniature golf and Zeiss Planetarium at the Insulaner.
As an additional incentive to go there in summer, the summer pool opens its doors to the public, with its sandbox and playground catering above all to families with children. As a family institution, there is also a baby pool, an area for non-swimmers with a water slide and children under 5 get in for free.
If you are more into sportive swimming, the venue boasts a 50 metres pool. Should you really wish to swim there in summer, then you should be an early bird – especially during the school vacations this place is really busy.
