Stadtpark Lichtenberg, despite being so close to the hip parts of Friedrichshain, is a wonderful tranquil oasis for Berliners.

The Stadtpark Lichtenberg is a worthwhile excursion destination. Several areas in this park of 5,3 hectares are green-flagged for BBQs. Extra benches and tables as well as sufficient waste bins have been installed for this purpose.

The beautiful green lawns, beautifully planted flower beds and a small but very well-kept pond invite you to relax.

A successful family excursion includes a wide range of sports and leisure activities. The Stadtpark Lichtenberg offers a miniature golf course, an open-air stage, a bowling alley, playgrounds, ball courts and numerous sculptures to look at.
