The Astor Film Lounge on Kurfürstendamm pampers its audience with a luxurious ambience, selected films and in-seat service!
Luxury Cinema on Kurfürstendamm
The Astor Film Lounge is Germany’s first film lounge in a listed cinema hall, right on Ku’damm. Cinephiles can enjoy film classics such as “East of Eden”, “Ben Hur”, “High Noon”, “Roman Holiday” or similar films in a particularly elegant setting. The current program features selected beautiful films. The Astor Film Lounge’s classical program is also exciting; special classical concerts from the Royal Opera House in London are broadcast live here.
In addition to the program, it is primarily the luxurious ambience of the Film Lounge that is captivating. The draped curtain, which is framed by a shell-shaped ceiling, immediately creates a festive atmosphere and is reminiscent of legendary film premieres celebrated here in the 50s. The seating is generous, and due to the large row spacing, even tall people can comfortably accommodate their legs.
The mostly outrageously good-looking service staff pamper visitors directly at their seats with small snacks, finger food, and cocktails. The secret of the film lounge probably lies in the fact that even ordinary people feel like pampered VIPs here. A movie night in the film lounge is therefore a special event for many Berliners and a small break from everyday life, which is also often given as a gift voucher, for a special occasion or Valentine’s Day.
