The Street Art Berlin Tour has its last tour on Saturday, August 18th, 2018. STADTLUST magazine still organises common city tours and rallies through Berlin.
The tour of about 2 hours duration tells how the story of the creative reconquest of public space began in the first place. The protest of squatters in the sealed club SO26 spawned a wave which made a further development of the inner city motorway impossible and thus led to an improvement of living conditions in the area with more green and custom graffiti. And there is indeed a bridge between this historical starting point and contemporaneous artists like Blu, Oz Gemeos and Alaniz to street art heroes who pimp fences with colorful ice cream spoons.
Meeting point of the public tour is always Saturdays under the subway bridge of the stop Schlesisches Tor at 3:00 pm.
