The open air theater Waldbühne is one of Berlin’s most famous open air concert locations. Located at the Western end of Olympiapark in Berlin-Westend it offers space for over 20,000 people. The architecture takes after antique Greek theaters and offers a great acoustic experience.
The Waldbühne has already hosted several international superstars such as the Rolling Stones, Kiss and Kings of Leon. Musicans of all kinds and fans especially enjoy the special atmosphere under the open sky.
Some of the summer highlights of 2019 include the Kelly Family, Fleetwood Mac, Andreas Gabalier, Neil Young, the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra and the famous summer concert of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Families especially enjoy open air events such as the Taschenlampenkonzert (flashlight concert) for children.
