Located directly at U-Bahn station Kleistpark in Berlin-Schöneberg Train Cocktailbar can be found in an old restored street car wagon of the 20s. The wagon was furnished with comfy cushions and curtains. A gilded ceiling and chandeliers make it full of atmosphere. It’s very comfy in there. The wooden benches have seat heating which makes it warm and cozy in there – especially during cold days in fall and winter.
The wagon is just one part of the bar though. If you go towards the end you’ll reach to a patio that is partly canopied. The open air area is a nice spot with lounge atmosphere where you can enjoy your drinks during the warmer seasons.
Cocktails at Train Cocktailbar are pretty tasty and fresh with a convincing price-performance ratio. The drinks vary from low alcohol drinks like Planters Punch and Mojitos up to special creations like “Train Fever” with rum or “Train Soul” with tequila. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Sundays they have a special offer with cocktails for just 6.00 Euro. If you wanna enjoy your drink elsewhere you can just grab a cocktail to go.
