Guests can look forward to an extensive stage program with concerts performed by live bands from various genres, from pop and brass to classical and jazz. Ingo Hoppe, presenter of rbb 88.8, will charmingly guide you through the concerts, which are filled with music, raffles and surprises. Over 100 lovingly decorated stalls offer a wealth of gift ideas, including natural goods workshops, jewelry designers, artisans and much more. Here you will find blankets, fabrics, hats, wooden toys, Erzgebirge art, rocking horses, jewelry, paper art, ceramics and culinary delights.
Brass ensembles create a festive atmosphere under the decorated Christmas tree. Rhyme speaker Theo Theodor entertains visitors with Berlin anecdotes from three centuries. For families, there is a children’s program with fairy tales and music that starts at noon. The Monbijou Theater tells Grimm’s fairy tales for children, and storyteller Ellen Luckas invites you to enjoy more stories and music in the blue fairy tale hut. In addition, a large craft tent on the Späth grounds offers the opportunity to make Christmas crafts with natural materials.
Every evening, the fire octopus delights visitors with impressive fire demonstrations. The Christmas market attracts visitors with a picturesque fir forest, in which high-quality Christmas trees such as Nordmann firs, pines and spruces can be found. Here you can choose your favorite tree. Visitors can expect a rich selection of Christmas delicacies, campfire moments and cozy fireplaces. There is mulled fruit wine, mulled wine from the vintners, Swedish glögg, hot drinking chocolate, children’s punch and delicious cookies from the Christmas bakery.
