The historic Christmas market on the RAW site can be reached via the entrance on the corner of Revaler Straße and Dirschauer Straße. During the Christmas season, the area on Berlin’s party grounds is transformed into a medieval setting with jugglers and acrobats who delight visitors with fire shows and historical music.
You won’t find colorful Christmas lights and plastic Christmas figures here, instead there are many stands with handicrafts such as wood carvings or wrought iron work. The hand-operated wooden carousel and the giant wooden wheel for children are particularly unique. Other attractions awaiting visitors young and old at the Christmas market include archery and crossbow shooting.
Food and drink are also catered for here. The taverns offer sweet and savory dishes and those who want to warm up can order mulled wine and Feuerzangenbowle as well as delicious mulled beer.
