An inspiring environment, the necessary equipment and numerous opportunities for networking – this is what was created by Germany’s first co-working space Factory Berlin. The campus on Rheinsberger Straße in Berlin-Mitte in the old brick building near the Wall Memorial offers over 8,500 square meters of office space and is equipped with the latest technology. The co-working space gives startups, freelancers and established businesses a place for socializing, creativity and productiveness. Well-known startups like SoundCloud and Uber belong to the community and use the location.
The Factory Berlin is not a typical co-working space but sees itself more like a business club for startups. Numerous events and various amenities are included in the monthly membership of Factory Berlin. The membership also includes free coffee, tea and water, a post service, lockers, mobile workstations, meeting rooms and, of course, a high speed Internet connection.
In addition to the community building, which particularly is in focus here and is promoted by many innovative events, the Factory Kitchen also provides healthy snacks and dishes at fair prices from early till late. At Factory Berlin is also taken care of the work-life-balance. Factory Berlin offers various sports courses, such as yoga, to find a balance to work life.
In addition to the campus in Berlin-Mitte, another campus is built at Görlitzer Park, which will include a library, 3D printer and a cinema. In Alt-Treptow another location with a slightly different concept is to be built on Tempelhofer Ufer.
