What about a romantic picnic by the water?

The restaurant Hafenküche (“Harbour Kitchen”) prepares every kind of picnic basket, be it for tough guys, gentle ladies or the family excursion on a boat ride with spreeboote.de. The family basket contains for example tomato, mozzarella, pretzels, hard-boiled eggs, marinated avocados and pasta salad with cherry tomatos and pesto.

Of course you can have the contents of the basket enlarged for bigger groups. Chill out on the terrace of the restaurant after your stint as boat captain and enjoy the evening there while overlooking the waters at Rummelsburg.

    Remark

    Its location directly on the banks of the river and the fabulous vista of the Spree river and the ferris wheel of Plänterwald are outstanding. There is a riverside gallery directly in the city marina www.citymarina-rummelsburg.de. On top of that you can rent a boat at spreeboote.de and have a picnic basket prepared to take. It is just a very idyllic place that makes you feel far outside the city though you are only 7 km away from Alexanderplatz.
