Berlin-Mitte’s Ermelerhaus is a special location, uniting tradition with modern times and thus creating a very special atmosphere to celebrate your wedding there. The historic Ermelerhaus on the banks of the Spree is linked with the 4-star art hotel art’otel Berlin-mitte. The listed part of the building offers four impressive banquet halls in which you can also exchange your vows. The Ermelerhaus cooperates with the registrars’ office in charge. Weddings with up to 100 guests do not present any challenge at all.
After the wedding ceremony, the newly-weds can spend their first night as husband and wife in the wedding suite of the art’otel berlin mitte. With its 109 modern rooms and suites other wedding guests are welcomed to stay.
The historic Ermelerhaus is located directly on the banks of the Spree which used to be the historical harbour of Berlin. It is one of the few still existant patrician houses of old Berlin. It was commissioned by an arms dealer to Prussian king Frederick II as a rococo building in 1760. The artful ceiling frescos have been conserved to this very day and offer a great backdrop to have your wedding pictures taken. The building is listed and has its rightful place among the historical architectural landmarks of Berlin.
