The island of the Köpenick castle offers the perfect scenery for private wedding celebrations. Only separated from the romantic old town of Köpenick by the castle moat is the Schlosscafé Köpenick located directly on the banks of the Dahme, an extension of Lake Müggelsee. In the small oasis in the middle of Berlin no further weddings take place at the same time and one can enjoy the location undisturbed for the whole day.
The Schlosscafé is located directly on the waterfront and the entire complex on the island can be used for the wedding if required. One can get married open air on the shore or in the beautiful Aurorasaal with its church flair and a genuine organ. A church wedding in an old baroque church is also possible. The registry office in the historical town hall Köpenick is also only a few walking minutes away from the location.
After the wedding ceremony the castle island offers numerous romantic motives for a wedding shooting with the bridal couple, while the guests can enjoy the atmospheric ambience with coffee and cake in the Schlosscafé. If the weather does not play along, the terrace area before the coffee can also be equipped with comfortable party tents, so that the wedding party remains dry and nevertheless does not have to do without the water view.
The small ballroom offers room for a total of 80 people at long tables and can be festively decorated with the appropriate decoration. In summer, even in bad weather, the marquees can provide space for a total of 120 wedding guests.
