The head office of the special arts and crafts shop Wilhelm Rüther can be found at Schöneberg but in the meantime they have opened shops in Spandau, Tegel and Prenzlauer Berg. The shops are not design showrooms and rather inconsicuous from the outside. The presentation of their articles however is very well organised and functional: there’s hardyl anything you will not find there. If you are in need of special paints for porcelain painting, a pottery wheel or a special glaze, Wilhelm Rüther is the place for you. They also offer the service of putting your home-made ceramic pieces of art in their kiln.
All kinds of paints and material for acrylics, water-colour or oil painting, crayons and chalks in a millenium of various colour to a painter’s easel are carried permanently by Wilhelm Rüther. If you want to try your luck at silk painting to make a scarf, you will find all the right materials here.
Rüther’s shop also offers the special service of fixating the silk scarves or silk painting with steam.
