They are without any doubt the most popular ambassador of former East Germany and now present on all Berlin pedestrian crossings - the Ampelmann, the little human figure you see on traffic lights.

But you cannot find them on traffic lights alone, there are also plenty of them in the Ampelmann stores. You can get these cute fellas as lamps, gummis, moulds for ice cubes and even sponges for your kitchen. As a decal you get the Ampelmann (and also as Ampelfrau) – on bags, cutlery for children, notepads and many more things. Is there anything more you could wish for?
