Musicland Spandau not only sells records and CDs, but also DVDs and even VHS from virtually all genres: pop, rock, dance, black music and jazz. Audio books and special soundtracks can also be found here. Above all, the focus is on good advice.
Musicland in Spandau has been supplying this small “Berlin suburb” with music since 1973. Starting out as a small chain of stores in Berlin with a total of six branches, the corner store in Spandau was the last to remain. Under the almost 50-year leadership of Ralf Rachner, in which he was able to press his “legend status” into vinyl, Musicland survived the CD, streaming, a pandemic and even the odd guest. Since June 1, 2024, the new owners Uwe, Tobi, Philipp and Chris have been the faces of what is now almost Berlin’s oldest record store, Musicland, and in addition to records, they also regularly offer concerts, German and international guests, music tastings and other events.
Tip: If you head for the store, you should bring a little time with you to reminisce and browse.
