Paper & Tea offers exquisite teas, accessories, and gift items. Only whole-leaf teas and high-quality herbal teas from sustainable cultivation are offered.

Paper & Tea in Mitte: the seven-meter-long Wall of Tea

The store on Alte Schönhauser Straße opened in 2014 and is now the brand’s Berlin address. The ambiance is elegantly minimalist and very bright, ensuring that the tea and its presentation take center stage. The main element is the seven-meter-long Wall of Tea, a shelf that organizes the assortment by oxidation levels: from white, green, and yellow teas, from Oolongs to black teas, and Pu-Erh. A separate shelf is exclusively dedicated to herbal teas.

The selection exclusively includes whole-leaf teas and high-quality herbal teas from sustainable cultivation. In terms of origin, the selection ranges from China and Japan to India, Africa, and South America. If you can’t decide, let the wall guide you, as the sorting by oxidation level makes the differences between the varieties immediately understandable.

Accessories with Design Standards

In addition to tea, Paper & Tea offers its own accessories that follow the same minimalist design principle as the store itself: teapots, filters, bowls, and caddies, along with gift sets that make excellent presents without needing to know the recipient personally.

The Charlottenburg branches on Bleibtreustraße and Fasanenstraße are now closed. In Berlin, the store in Mitte and the space at KaDeWe remain.
