Just across the street from the forthcoming Berlin City Palace, the Restaurant HEat in Berlin-Mitte’s Radisson Blu Hotel offers you fiery moments. Its kitchen style is truly international, the original Indian Tandoori oven stands for spicy Indian food like Chicken Tandoori. Add to that crispy pizzas baked on lava stone.
Another special of the HEat are the NAM MEAT steaks, These are select beef steaks from Namibian free-range cattle that come with a side of your choice, like fries made from sweet potatoes. And of course a typical Berlin staple like Currywurst with a home-made curry sauce cannot miss.
You can walk to the restaurant from Alexanderplatz but it’s also a nice stop after touring the museums on Berlin’s Museum Island.
However, the HEat Restaurant is not only a place to warm up in winter. With its terrace and the breathtaking view of the Spree, the Berlin Cathedral and the future Berlin City Palace it’s also a central summer location.
