Friedrichshain

In the Berlin Hot Yoga Studio in Boxhagenerstraße, 28 Bikram Yoga exercises will make participants sweat at 38 degrees.

Not far from Ostkreuz S-Bahn station in Boxhagener-Kiez in Friedrichshain you will find the Berlin Hot Yoga Studio. Here, at full 38 degrees and high humidity for 90 minutes a total of 28 body and breathing exercises are practiced that make everybody sweat.

The special features of the Hot Yoga are the high room temperature on the one hand and the same sequence of exercises on the other hand – and this is important, because each exercise builds on the next. In addition to the sports aspect, the heat also promotes an intensive detoxification of the body through sweating. Hot yoga stimulates the metabolism and strengthens the immune system. In addition, the hot temperature makes the body warm up faster, makes participants more flexible and therefore reduces the risk of injury.
Due to the fact that all courses are identical to the exercises and their sequence, there is no subdivision into beginners or advanced and each participant trains according to his / her own level. Some of the courses are held in English.

The studio in Friedrichshain is located in a backyard on Boxhagenerstraße. The rooms on the fourth floor are bright and friendly and if you have the time you can enjoy the view of the neighbourhood from here. The entire decor is rather simple but clean.

Those attending a Hot Yoga class should bring two large towels (for the class itself and showering afterwards) and a large plastic bottle of water.
