Mauerpark is situated where once was the strip that separated East and West Berlin, is now a vibrant location in the city not to miss.

The Berlin Wall Memorial is the central place of the German division and is in the historical site of Bernauer Strasse.

The Ackselhaus & Blue Home in Prenzlauer Berg is not a hotel in the traditional sense: two lovingly restored Wilhelminian-era buildings, packed with themed rooms, travel souvenirs, and a Mediterranean inner garden. Those who stay here don't just book a room, but a world.

For parties, wine is available on commission, unopened bottles can be returned.

Bruno Gibard, a Frenchman living in Berlin since 1982, has been running the wine shop Chez Bruno on Berliner Straße in Zehlendorf since 2006. The shelves feature wines from almost all regions of France, mostly from family wineries, along with Crémant, Champagne, raw milk cheese, and pâtés. Those who wish to try can order a tasting plate with a glass of wine.

Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin-Mitte is arguably the most glamorous address for a bachelorette party in the capital. Located directly at the Brandenburg Gate, it combines legendary history with five-star luxury, a private spa experience, and the famous Afternoon Tea on the Bel Etage.

High up on the 14th floor of the InterContinental, on the edge of Tiergarten, lies Berlin's highest wine bar. Over 300 international wines, plus panoramic views of the Victory Column, TV Tower, and Potsdamer Platz: Hugos Weinbar combines Michelin-star restaurant quality with the relaxed lightness of an apéro evening.

Habba Habba at Kastanienallee 15 works with light and fluffy sesame falafel, served either in a wrap or on a salad with herbs, nuts, and pomegranate dressing. The wrap costs 8.50 Euros, the mint-yogurt sauce is an additional 1.50 Euros, and only cash is accepted. For falafel in Prenzlauer Berg, this is the most unique option.

The exclusive Schlosshotel in Grunewald offers relaxation in luxury, far away from the bustle of the metropolis.

This classic elegant 5-stars superior hotel is centrally located on Gendarmenmarkt, with an unmistakeable view to the classicistic ensemble of Konzerthaus, New Church and French Cathedral.

Since 1865, one of Berlin's last two working windmills has been turning on Buckower Damm. Next to it stands the reconstructed miller's house with a restaurant and a beer garden for 400 people. If you prefer a down-to-earth marriage proposal over a high-gloss one, you'll hardly find a more suitable place in Neukölln.

Located on Wühlischstraße in Friedrichshain, Le Boudoir by Bohème Sauvage is Berlin's most sophisticated costume rental for the Golden Age of the Weimar Republic. Charleston dresses, feather boas, pearl necklaces, and Art Deco accessories await all who want to not only celebrate but also wear the nightlife of the Roaring Twenties.

On Auguststraße in Berlin-Mitte, behind tinted windows, lies a corner restaurant with a deli counter, handmade pasta, and mozzarella tasting from Basilicata. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie declared Al Contadino Mozzarella Bar and Bottega their favorite Berlin spot, and since then, Til Schweiger and Diane Kruger have also visited.

On Mommsenstrasse, Macy'z carries pre-owned fashion from labels like Valentino, Chanel, Alexander Wang, or Hermès, much of it from the Charlottenburg neighborhood. The pieces are inspected and refurbished before sale and are spaced out on the racks.

Since 1973, the Berlin flea market on Straße des 17. Juni in Charlottenburg has been considered the city's oldest and most famous flea market. Among antiques, vinyl records, and handicrafts directly by the Tiergarten, a collection of curiosities can be found every weekend that attracts Berliners and travelers alike.

Right by the Great Müggelsee in Köpenick, there is a graduation ball venue that pampers Berlin high school graduates with lake panoramas, an atmospheric evening ambiance, and professional event service. The four-star hotel combines natural idyll with everything an unforgettable graduation celebration needs.

The Gasometer Berlin Schöneberg combines two Berlin photo spots in one: the green steel framework from 1910, 78 meters high and a listed building, and the round glass building that has been inside it since 2024. The rooftop terrace at 66 meters offers a 360-degree view of the city, but it is only accessible as part of a guided tour.

TUKADU on Rosenthaler Straße offers jewelry between 20 and 350 Euros, making it a place where both a small token and a larger gift can be found. Vouchers start at ten Euros and go up to 250 Euros. Shipping within Germany is available, but the store currently does not ship to other EU countries.

Centrally located in City West, between Kurfürstendamm and Potsdamer Platz, the hotel commonly nicknamed "Interconti" maintains its fame as central event venue of Germany's capital with highest quality standards.

Located on Rudi-Dutschke-Straße, betahaus Kreuzberg is considered the birthplace of coworking in Germany. Since 2009, it has attracted founders, freelancers, and creative teams. Here, a well-established community infrastructure meets industrial charm, a rooftop terrace, and a public café right in the building.

Chef Jan Kreuzinger opened Vin Aqua Vin in 2010 on Weserstraße in Neukölln, as both a wine shop and a wine bar. The shelves primarily feature German winemakers with a focus on Riesling, as well as wines from France, Portugal, Spain, and Italy, and their own Secco. It's open until 1 AM, so you can still grab a bottle late at night.

On Weserstraße in the Reuterkiez, Bohei Shop has been offering stationery, jewelry, and home accessories for about ten years, much of it from Berlin labels like Berlin in Sicht, Berliner Töchter, and Reflective Berlin. Owner Jan Oster designs some of the cards and prints himself. A postcard with the TV Tower is enough for a Berlin souvenir here.

The Greenhouse in Glienicke/Nordbahn is the American diner in Berlin for Californian cuisine amidst tropical plants. The burgers are made from Hohenloher beef from Schwäbisch Hall, complemented by spare ribs and beef brisket cooked for 24 hours. Free parking is available outside on the B96, and inside, a new fireplace lounge awaits.

The New Year's Eve Party at Spandau Citadel is an open air highlight for the whole family at one of Europe's best well-kept renaissance strongholds.
